Teriyaki
Meat Balls
Yield:
6 dozen meatballs
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 eggs - beaten
2 tablespoon flour
1 ½ teaspoon salt
Ground pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ cup sugar
1/3 cup Aloha
Shoyu Regular Soy Sauce or
Aloha Shoyu Lower Salt Soy Sauce
1 can (14 oz.) beef broth
¼ cup sake (Japanese rice wine)
1 ½ Teaspoon minced ginger root
1 ½ Teaspoon minced garlic
PROCEDURE
Preheat oven to 400 °. Combine ground beef, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper.
Mix and shape into small balls about 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter. Place
meatballs in a greased baking pan and bake for 14 to 17 minutes.
In a skillet, mix the cornstarch with sugar and Aloha Shoyu Soy Sauce.
Stir in beef broth, sake, ginger, and garlic. Cook until mixture thickens
slightly, stirring constantly. Combine mixture and cooked meatballs in
a serving dish
